"Flaming Fire RED Anthurium blazing trails to the Ballroom!"

I love Anthurium flower. It has a sophisticate character and elegant look about it. This ballroom gown was inspired by this tropical flower. My client at the time was looking for a ballroom gown that has the sassy and elegant  look in ebony black and highlight with fire red embroidered motifs and hand embellished with lustre red crystals.

My client was very pleased with her gown and I was super happy with it too.

About Anthurium Flower

"Anthurium Fire Red Tropical Flower is an instrumentally characterized flower, with an atmosphere of sassy attitude and blazing individuality. A leaf-like head beholds the fierce red color, exploding into even more intensity with the circulating veins on bloom, allowing a strike of culminating lights and darks to be shaded over the glossy surface. This is the matter that truly makes this flower look so alive. A single lengthy stem bursts out of the center of the head and extends upwards with a pale lower half, and tipped in a light yellow color. A stunning and easily noticed flower, this anthurium stands alone with poise and esteem, while it also fits into bouquets and centerpieces with Burgundy Black Calla Lilies and Burgundy Red Succulent Flowers for nearly any occasion

Anthuriums are herbaceous epiphytes native to tropical America. Anthurium is a genus of more than 800 species found in the New World tropics from Mexico to northern Argentina and Uruguay. The Anthurium is also known as Painted Tongue, Flamingo Flower (Flamingo Lily) or Tail Flower. Anthuriums are grown for their brightly colored flower spathes and their ornamental leaves."

Lyrical Coral Lace!

Last week I was so pleased to receive this beautiful photograph of Lisa Marie. She was wearing one of my latest design "The Lyrical Coral Lace". Lisa Marie won First place in Lyrical at The Hawkesbury City Eisteddfod.

The Eisteddfod provides an opportunity for individuals to gain experience by performing to the public while polishing their skills and gaining knowledge and valuable experience by participating in all areas of the program. For many it is a stepping stone to greater things. The Hawkesbury region hosts a competition that is widely recognised and respected. People travel from as far as Canberra, Bathurst and the North Coast. It is by far the biggest annual cultural event held in the Hawkesbury each year.

Thanks so much for your support and your mum Kate.  You are so talented and beautiful.

Congratulations  on your winning  Lisa Marie.
